The trail game
A Mystery painting has been scattered across the Painters’ Valleys. Seven stops, seven fragments and one work to piece back together. Each panel you scan on the ground selects a piece.
Fragments are unlocked on site, in front of the panels. They stay saved on this phone.
Ryōkai Ōhashi · 1928 · Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka
The Church of Villiers-sur-Morin, painted by Ryōkai Ōhashi in 1928, offers a highly constructed vision of the monument. The church is simplified by strong dark outlines that set off the volumes and structure the composition. The contrasts between the coloured masses and the sky give the building an almost monumental presence.
In February 1928, Ryōkai Ōhashi went to Villiers-sur-Morin with Yūzō Saeki, Takanori Ogisu, Takeo Yamaguchi and Sadami Yokote for a painting campaign. The group worked in the depths of winter.
The reward and the download of the work are coming soon.
