France The Road at Crécy Camille Corot · c. 1870
For nearly seventy years, painters from all over the world set up their easels in the valleys of the Marne and the Grand Morin. Their landscapes are still there.
An international artists’ colony
France, the United States, Japan, Canada, the Russian Empire. They came for the light of the valley, and they painted the same bridges, the same mills, the same streets.
During the visit
In front of each panel on the trail, the painting reappears exactly where it was painted. Nothing to install: your phone is enough.
